Artist Statement

My practice as a multidisciplinary visual artist and illustrator centers on exploring the intricate beauty, organic geometries, and rich symbolism of the natural world. Working from my studio in Gippsland, Victoria, my work bridges detailed precision with intuitive mark-making, skillfully contrasting sharp illustrations against fluid, organic lines, abstract backgrounds, and subtle interplay of light.

Rooted in a deep curiosity for naturally found objects and overlooked details in nature, I seek to build layered visual narratives that guide viewers on a personal journey of discovery. Whether developing public art murals, facilitating interactive residencies, or creating reflective studio pieces, community engagement remains a vital pillar of my creative process. Through serendipitous play, vibrant color, and attentive craftsmanship, my art aims to ignite wonder and foster a deeper connection to the quiet complexities of the environment.
