Neeni Creations is the brainchild of Janine Durston (AKA Jay Neeni) Her work draws inspiration from the natural world and the wild feminine. She enjoys contrasting clean sharp illustration with organic fluid lines and abstracted backgrounds.
Colour plays an important role in the work, with previous experience and training in colour consultancy and mixing being an influence.
This is the foundation of every piece.
Janine hopes to take the viewer on a journey of exploration and discovery and achieves that with layers of fine detail, a clear understanding of the play of light and elements of serendipitous play.
Her willingness to work in mixed media adds further depth to her illustrative works.
Janine's style is often fluid and organic with movement across the page or canvas, reminiscent of Art Nouveau.
